Bucks Injury Report: Doc Rivers Provides Update on Khris Middleton's Health
Rivers Confirms Middleton Will Miss Game 4
Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers announced on Monday that All-Star forward Khris Middleton will miss Tuesday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals due to a sprained MCL. Middleton suffered the injury in the third quarter of Game 2 and did not return.
Rivers said that Middleton is "day-to-day" and could potentially return for Game 5 on Thursday. However, the team is being cautious with their star player and will not rush him back into action.
Bucks Hope to Tie Series in Game 4
The Bucks trail the series 2-1 and will need to win Game 4 to even the series. Middleton is a key player for the Bucks and his absence will be a major blow to their chances of winning.
The Bucks will also be without Brook Lopez, who is still recovering from a back injury. Lopez has not played since Game 2 of the first round against the Miami Heat.
Despite the injuries, the Bucks are confident that they can win Game 4 and tie the series. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 33.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in the playoffs and will need to continue to play at a high level for the Bucks to win.
