Jamal Musiala remains on Chelsea radar
The Blues are long-term admirers of the Germany international
Jamal Musiala remains a target for Chelsea, 90min understands, with the Blues continuing to monitor the Bayern Munich star's situation.
Musiala has been on Chelsea's radar for a number of years, with the Premier League club having first made contact with his representatives when he was just 16 years old.
Musiala has impressed at Bayern this season
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Bayern this season, establishing himself as a key player for the Bundesliga champions.
Musiala has scored six goals and provided five assists in 24 appearances in all competitions, and has helped Bayern win the Bundesliga and the DFL Super Cup.
His performances have also earned him a call-up to the Germany national team, and he made his debut in November 2021.
Chelsea are aware that Musiala is one of the most promising young players in world football, and they see him as a potential long-term replacement for Mason Mount.
However, Bayern are reluctant to sell Musiala, who is under contract until 2026.
The Bundesliga champions are also facing financial difficulties, and they may be forced to sell some of their star players in the summer.
If Musiala does become available, Chelsea are likely to face competition from a number of other top clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
