Jedd Fisch breaks down the Washington Huskies’ loss to the USC Trojans
Fisch highlights need for improvement in multiple areas
Washington falls to 0-2 on the season
Washington Huskies football coach Jedd Fisch met with the media on Monday to discuss his team's 30-14 loss to the USC Trojans on Saturday night.
Fisch said that he was disappointed with the Huskies' performance in all three phases of the game.
"We didn't play well enough to win," Fisch said. "We made too many mistakes, and we didn't execute our game plan."
Fisch said that the Huskies need to improve their execution on offense, defense, and special teams.
"We need to be more consistent on offense," Fisch said. "We need to be able to run the ball better, and we need to be more efficient in the passing game."
"On defense, we need to tackle better and we need to get more pressure on the quarterback," Fisch said. "And on special teams, we need to be more consistent in all areas."
Fisch said that he is confident that the Huskies can improve their performance and turn their season around.
"We have a lot of talent on this team," Fisch said. "We just need to find a way to put it all together."
The Huskies will have a chance to get back on track when they host the Portland State Vikings on Saturday.
