MUSTANGS PREPARE FOR TCU: EXCITING ROAD MEET ON FRIDAY
No. 24 Mustangs Prepare For TCU
Oklahoma State heads to Fort Worth for a road meet against TCU on Friday.
The No. 24 Oklahoma State gymnastics team is set to face TCU on the road this Friday, March 10th. The meet, which is set to begin at 7 p.m. CT, will be the Cowgirls' first road meet since February 17th.
Coming off a thrilling 196.850-196.525 win over No. 12 California last weekend, the Cowgirls are looking to continue their momentum against the Horned Frogs.
TCU comes into the meet with a record of 4-6 overall and 3-2 in Big 12 play. The Horned Frogs have won their last two meets, defeating Air Force and Texas Woman's University. Friday’s meet will be the only regular-season meeting between the two schools.
The Cowgirls are led by a pair of All-Americans in Taylor Hennig and Karrie Thomas. Hennig is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation on the uneven bars and No. 2 on the floor exercise, while Thomas is ranked No. 4 on the balance beam.
TCU is led by sophomore Gracie Morrow. Morrow is a two-time Big 12 Gymnast of the Week and is currently ranked No. 14 in the nation on the floor exercise.
The meet is expected to be a close one. The Cowgirls are currently ranked No. 24 in the nation, while TCU is ranked No. 37. However, the Horned Frogs have a strong home record and will be looking to upset the Cowgirls.
