🚨 NYCFC impress to force third match against Cincinnati
New York City FC fought back to earn a 2-2 draw with FC Cincinnati in the first leg of their Eastern Conference semi-final.
NYCFC took the lead through Heber in the 17th minute, but Cincinnati hit back to level through Brandon Vazquez in the 25th minute.
The visitors then took the lead through Lucho Acosta in the 55th minute, but NYCFC substitute Thiago Andrade equalized in the 83rd minute to ensure the tie will be decided in the second leg.
NYCFC were the better side in the first half and deservedly took the lead through Heber.
The Brazilian striker headed home from close range after a cross from Maxi Moralez.
However, Cincinnati hit back quickly through Vazquez, who finished well after a good run from Acosta.
The second half was more even, with both sides creating chances.
