Pitt’s SirVocea Dennis Makes ACC Team of the Week
Dennis was a force on the field, leading the Panthers to a win against Virginia Tech
Dennis’ performance earned him a spot on the ACC Team of the Week.
Pitt linebacker SirVocea Dennis was named to the ACC Team of the Week on Monday after his standout performance in the Panthers' 28-21 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday.
Dennis, a redshirt junior from Savannah, Georgia, led the Panthers with nine tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss. He also had one sack and one quarterback hurry.
Dennis was a force on the field, helping the Panthers improve to 3-1 on the season. He was a key part of a defense that held Virginia Tech to just 21 points and 326 total yards.
Dennis is one of four Pitt players to be named to the ACC Team of the Week this season. Defensive end Habakkuk Baldonado, defensive tackle Calijah Kancey, and quarterback Kedon Slovis have also earned the honor.
The Panthers will be back in action on Saturday when they host Rhode Island at Heinz Field. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET.
