Narrow 1-0 Win Over Vancouver Whitecaps Gives RSL Hope

RSL was able to keep their playoff hopes alive with a narrow 1-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

The lone goal of the match came in the 72nd minute, when Emeka Eneli headed home a cross from Aaron Herrera. The goal was Eneli's first of the season, and it proved to be the game-winner.

The win was a much-needed one for RSL, who had lost their previous two matches. The victory moved RSL into ninth place in the Western Conference standings, just one point out of a playoff spot.

RSL will be back in action on Wednesday night, when they will host the Houston Dynamo. A win against the Dynamo would give RSL a much-needed boost in their quest for a playoff berth.
