Tennessee Flip Target Attending Neyland Stadium This Weekend
Weekend Crowd Could Provide Boost for 4-Star In-State Safety
Tennessee football is set to host a key flip target this weekend when four-star in-state safety Sylvester Smith makes his way to Neyland Stadium for the Vols' matchup against Akron.
Smith, a standout at University School of Jackson, is currently committed to Ole Miss but has been heavily pursued by Tennessee since the Vols extended an offer in March.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state of Tennessee and is considered a key target for both UT and Ole Miss.
A Big Recruiting Weekend for Tennessee
Smith's visit is just one of several key recruiting events for Tennessee this weekend as the Vols look to continue building momentum on the recruiting trail.
The Vols will also host four-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor from Iowa, four-star wide receiver Jacolby Spells from Alabama, and four-star defensive end Joshua Josephs from Florida.
Tennessee is also hosting several other top prospects, including five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, five-star wide receiver Deion Colzie, and five-star defensive lineman Walter Nolen.
