Breaking News

Texas A&M running back Le'Veon Moss was carted off the field with a leg injury during the Aggies' game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Saturday. Moss was injured in the second quarter after taking a handoff and being tackled by Appalachian State linebacker Nick Hampton. Moss immediately grabbed his left leg and was writhing in pain. He was eventually helped to the sideline by trainers and was later carted to the locker room.

The extent of Moss' injury is not yet known, however he did not return to the game. He is expected to undergo an MRI on Sunday to determine the severity of the injury. Moss is a key part of the Aggies' offense, do his injury could be a big blow to the team.

In his absence, Texas A&M will likely turn to backup running back Devon Achane. Achane is a highly-rated recruit who rushed for over 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in high school. He has had a solid start to his college career, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries this season.

The Aggies will need Achane to step up in Moss' absence. They are facing a tough schedule down the stretch, including games against Alabama, LSU, and Auburn. Moss' injury could make it difficult for the Aggies to compete with those teams.

We will continue to provide updates on Moss' injury as they become available.
