Red Raiders Rally for Overtime Win

In a thrilling Big 12 Conference matchup, the Texas Tech Red Raiders upset the TCU Horned Frogs in overtime, 56-53. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading touchdowns throughout the contest.

TCU struck first with a touchdown pass from Max Duggan to Quentin Johnston in the first quarter. Texas Tech answered back with a touchdown run by SaRodorick Thompson, but the Horned Frogs regained the lead with a field goal before halftime.

In the second half, the Red Raiders took control of the game with two touchdowns from Donovan Smith. TCU tied the game with a touchdown pass from Duggan to Taye Barber, but Texas Tech responded with a field goal to take a 31-28 lead.

The Horned Frogs regained the lead with a touchdown run by Emari Demercado, but the Red Raiders answered back with a touchdown pass from Tyler Shough to Jerand Bradley to tie the game at 35-35.

Iowa State Cyclones Fall to Baylor Bears

In another Big 12 Conference game, the Iowa State Cyclones fell to the Baylor Bears, 31-24. The Cyclones were unable to overcome a slow start and a strong performance by Baylor quarterback Blake Shapen.

Baylor took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter with two touchdown passes from Shapen to Gavin Holmes. Iowa State cut the lead to 14-7 with a touchdown run by Jirehl Brock, but Baylor extended their lead to 21-7 with another touchdown pass from Shapen to Holmes.

Baylor regained the lead with a touchdown run by Richard Reese, and the Cyclones were unable to answer back, giving Baylor the 31-24 victory.
