Thunder's Aaron Wiggins: Starting vs. Clippers

OKC Thunder rookie Aaron Wiggins will start against the LA Clippers on Monday.

Wiggins, a first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has been impressive in his limited action this season. The 6'6" wing is averaging 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 46.7% from the field.

Wiggins will get the start in place of Darius Bazley, who is out with a knee injury. It will be Wiggins' first career start in the NBA.

The Thunder are hoping that Wiggins can provide a spark to their offense. The team has struggled to score consistently this season, ranking 29th in the NBA in points per game. Wiggins is a good athlete with a good shooting stroke. He could be a valuable piece for the Thunder this season.
