Trail Tidbits: Tennessee set for another big recruiting weekend
Knoxville, TN –
Tennessee will host a number of top prospects this weekend for official visits, including five-star quarterback Arch Manning, the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 class.
Top Story:
Manning, from New Orleans, is the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning and is considered the most coveted quarterback prospect in the country. He has narrowed his list of schools to Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Ole Miss.
The Vols are also expected to host several other top prospects this weekend, including four-star running back Justice Haynes from Knoxville, four-star defensive lineman Joshua Josephs from Nashville and four-star offensive lineman Emery Jones from Indianapolis.

Tennessee is coming off a big recruiting weekend last weekend, when they hosted a number of top prospects, including five-star linebacker Harold Perkins and four-star defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton.
The Vols are currently ranked No. 13 in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings for the 2023 class.
Tennessee is looking to build on its success from last season, when they went 11-2 and won the Music City Bowl.
The Vols open the 2023 season on Sept. 1 at home against Ball State.
