Bureau of Meteorology issues severe weather warning for the state

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has issued a severe weather warning for Tasmania, with wind gusts of over 100km/h expected to lash the state from tonight.
The warning is in place for the entire state, with the strongest winds expected to hit the west and south.
The BoM is also warning of heavy rain and possible flash flooding, particularly in the state's north and east.
What to do if you're in Tasmania during the storm
If you're in Tasmania during the storm, the BoM recommends that you:
- Stay indoors and away from windows.
- Secure loose objects outside your home.
- Be prepared for power outages.
- Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.
- If you must drive, be aware of fallen trees and debris.
- Stay informed about the latest weather warnings and advice.
