Arsenal eye move for Sane
German winger could be available on a free transfer next summer
Bundesliga giants yet to open talks over new deal
Arsenal are monitoring Leroy Sane’s contract situation at Bayern Munich, with the German winger’s current deal set to expire next summer.
The 26-year-old has been a key player for Bayern since joining from Manchester City in 2020, but has struggled with injuries in recent seasons.
Sane has made just 10 appearances for Bayern this season, and has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena.
Arsenal are in need of reinforcements in attack, and Sane would be a welcome addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The Gunners are currently fifth in the Premier League, and are looking to strengthen their team in order to challenge for a top-four finish.
Sane is a versatile winger who can play on either flank, and he would provide Arsenal with another attacking option.
The German international has scored 34 goals in 90 appearances for Bayern, and he also has 11 goals in 23 appearances for the Germany national team.
If Sane does not sign a new contract with Bayern, he will be available on a free transfer next summer.
Arsenal would be one of the favourites to sign Sane if he becomes available, and the German winger would be a valuable addition to Arteta’s squad.
