IPL retentions 2025: Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc & Rishabh Pant not retained before Mega Auction
Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc, and Rishabh Pant are among the high-profile players who have not been retained by their respective franchises ahead of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Buttler, who was the captain of Rajasthan Royals in the 2023 season, has been released by the franchise. The England wicket-keeper batsman had a disappointing season with the bat, scoring only 259 runs in 13 innings.
