Michigan State releases week 10 availability report
Spartans set to take on Indiana without several key players
Kenneth Walker III, Jayden Reed among those listed as questionable
Michigan State football released its availability report for week 10 on Wednesday, and it's not good news for the Spartans.
Several key players are listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Indiana, including running back Kenneth Walker III and wide receiver Jayden Reed.
Walker, who is the nation's leading rusher, has been battling an ankle injury. He missed last week's game against Rutgers and is questionable to play this week.
Reed, who is one of the top playmakers in the Big Ten, is also questionable with an ankle injury. He played in last week's game, but he was limited.
In addition to Walker and Reed, several other key players are listed as questionable, including offensive lineman J.D. Duplain, defensive end Jacub Panasiuk, and cornerback Kalon Gervin.
The Spartans are already without several key players, including quarterback Payton Thorne and wide receiver Tre Mosley.
The loss of so many key players is a major blow to the Spartans, who are 9-0 and ranked No. 8 in the country.
Indiana is 2-7 and coming off of a bye week. The Hoosiers will be looking to upset the Spartans and improve their chances of becoming bowl eligible.
The game will be played at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
