Southbound I-35 closed near I-44 in northeast OKC due to jackknifed semi
Emergency crews are on the scene of a jackknifed semi that has closed southbound Interstate 35 near Interstate 44 in northeast Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
The semi was traveling southbound on I-35 when it jackknifed and blocked all lanes of traffic.
No injuries have been reported, but traffic is backed up for miles.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes of I-35 are expected to be closed for several hours.
Crews are working to clear the scene and reopen the roadway.
